Isoline: Defibrillation leads designed to incorporate all the essential characteristics associated to outstanding performance.
Responsive Technology in your Hands
The latest generation defibrillation leads from Sorin Group are technologically highly refined products, including: Two new defibrillation lead models, both consisting of dual coils combined with steroid elution. Model 2CR6 has retractable fixation, and model 2CT6 has a tine fixation.
Their new fully isodiametric design has narrowed the body lead diameter to a diameter of only 7.8 F, without compromising safety. The internal cables have a multi-lumen structure, composed of a large number of individual conductor wires, each with a silver core coated with MP35N, covered with ETFE and double silicone insulation. Polyurethane is then used as the final abrasion resistance layer.
Users will find the leads easy to handle with the smooth Polyurethane coating and great flexibility from the braided cable structure.
Both the high resistance to corrosion and the excellent conductivity provided by the silver core cables enhance patient safety. Furthermore, a) the pacing threshold at implant is below 0.6 V (below 0.4 V with the tine fixation model), which prolongs device longevity, and b) the success of defibrillation therapy with a shock impedance of 43 ohms is 100%.1,2
