Steroid eluting left ventricular leads

Implantation made easy

  • Lubricant coating: Facilitates sliding of the lead through the guiding catheter.

  • Distal horn: is pointed to the left, facilitating the catheterization of lateral veins.

Stability and performance due to a unique design

  • Orientation curve: matches the curvature of the coronary
sinus and lateral veins, to allow optimal positioning of the tip
toward the epicardium and keeps lead in a stable position.

  • Contact curve: the distal curve acts as a spring inside the
lateral vein, holding the tip in permanent contact with the vein.

   Situs LV
    UL28D: large vein
    UC28D: small vein

The exclusive dual-curve design allows the operator to position the lead in the proximal part of the lateral vein, where the best thresholds and best ventricular synchronization are generally obtained*.

There are 2 curve profiles available for the SITUS, to fit different anatomical configurations:

Guiding catheter removal procedure

  • Single-diameter connector: the guiding catheter of the Situs LVAS kit can be removed simply, along the line of the lead, enhancing the safety of this procedural step

  • IS1 sleeve: after guiding removal, the IS-1 sleeve transform the single diameter connector in a standard IS-1 connector.
